This Privacy Policy explains how HTB Foods ("HTB Foods," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the website at htbfoods.com and any related pages we operate (the "Site"). Please read it carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
HTB Foods is a better-for-you food company based in Orlando, Florida, United States, with operations in Mexico. For any question about this policy or about your personal information, write to us at the address listed in Section 14.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
The Site does not include contact forms, accounts, newsletters, or online purchasing. The only way to send us information through the Site is by using one of the email links. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever else you choose to put in your message, such as your company, your role, or details about a potential business relationship.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data when a page is requested. This can include your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the page you requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This data is generated by the server itself and is used for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the Site available.
Web fonts
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and standard connection information as part of that request. We do not control what Google does with it. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect through the Site any government identification numbers, financial account numbers, payment card data, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or other sensitive personal information.
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
As of the effective date above, the Site does not set advertising cookies, does not run analytics software, does not deploy advertising or social media pixels, does not use session replay tools, and does not use chat widgets or call tracking. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not track your activity across other websites or over time.
If we add any analytics or advertising technology in the future, we will update this policy before or at the time it goes live, and where consent is required by applicable law we will ask for it before those technologies load.
We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where applicable law requires it.
4. How we use information
- To reply to your message and to hold the conversation you started.
- To evaluate and manage potential or existing business relationships, including retail, distribution, supply, foodservice, and investment inquiries.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it for profiling.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We have not done so in the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy.
We may disclose personal information in these limited situations:
- Service providers who act on our behalf and under contract, such as our website host, our email provider, and our font delivery provider.
- Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where needed and subject to confidentiality.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the receiving party to honor this policy.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to know what we collect and how we use it, the right to access a copy, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, the right to data portability, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the rights described above. In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, the categories of personal information we collected are identifiers, which includes email addresses and IP addresses, internet and network activity information, and commercial information contained in messages you send us. We collected it for the business purposes listed in Section 4 and disclosed it only to the categories of recipients listed in Section 5. We did not sell or share personal information. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other state privacy laws
If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may exercise the applicable rights listed above using the contact details in Section 14. Where required, you may appeal a decision we make about your request by replying to our response, and we will inform you of the outcome and of your right to contact your state attorney general.
Mexico
If you are in Mexico, you may exercise your ARCO rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition, and you may revoke consent or limit the use or disclosure of your personal data, under the applicable federal law on the protection of personal data held by private parties. Send your request to the address in Section 14 with enough information for us to identify you and the right you wish to exercise.
How to make a request
Write to us using the email address in Section 14 and tell us what you would like us to do. We will confirm receipt and respond within the time frame required by applicable law, generally within forty-five days. We may need to ask for information that lets us verify your identity before we act on your request.
7. Children
The Site is intended for a business audience and for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. How long we keep information
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed for the business relationship it relates to, and afterward for the period required by our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded or overwritten in the ordinary course.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to the Site and access controls on our email systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States and we have operations in Mexico. Information you send us may be processed in either country and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
11. Links to other sites
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing them with information.
12. Do Not Track
Because we do not track visitors across third-party websites, we do not alter our practices in response to Do Not Track browser signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals where applicable law requires it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will make a clearer notice on the Site. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
